Uninstall underlying managed solutions

Author Name: URS WIDMER

Improvement in uninstalling underlying managed solutions is needed. In fact, when you try to uninstall an underlying managed solution, it is nearly impossible to reach success even when you removed all possible dependencies from the top-level managed solution.

As MS Support said you would need to uninstall the top-level managed solution first and then uninstall the underlying managed solution, but you will also lose a lot of your data within the system when you do that – which clearly cannot be the solution.

I think there is really improvement needed at this point, because it is a common scenario to uninstall managed solutions.
