New Power App Admin Center

I would like to suggest that the new Admin Center be included with the existing Admin Centers, rather than a separate kind of thing that we access in a different way. The reason that I ask is because we have a lot of new things to learn, which is very exciting, but if we can build on what we know - it is an easy learning curve. We already know that all the admin centers for the different services are located on the bottom left of the Admin Portal....so why look anywhere else for it?   Also, the natural expectation would be that there would be an Admin role that is specific to that service, for the confirguration of environments for example, so that the Global Admin can delegate that role to someone without impacting other admin roles.   Existing Admin Centers (left side bottom area of admin portal):     Power Apps Admin Center (top right near user icon in Power Apps Home Environment):   Assigning Admin Roles is missing the Power App Admin role:     ... PowerApps is not specific to Office 365, which is one of the primary reasons it is not integrated into the Office 365 admin center. Instead, has it's own admin functionality that applies to whatever subscription the user has.

 

Since no one else voted for this approach, I'm just statusing that I am ok accepting the current approach. Smiley Happy

Choice column allow display of more than 100 items

I often have more than 100 items in a Choice column that need to be visible. I have had to resort to allowing users to enter their own values until this is a viable solution. If 100 is the default limit, there should be a setting that allows us to bypass this. ... View more

Pie Charts Need Help

Bar charts and pie charts are just too complicated to use and they don't work as expected. For instance, a pie chart, by it's very nature, shows grouped data as a percent of the whole. However, when you add a pie chart control it doesn't automatically "group" the series' in order to show percent of the whole. Hi Everyone, I've been playing around with PowerApps and Flow and I have to admit, they are slowly growing on me. My primary objective is to test first hand and see if PowerApps and Flow can replace InfoPath Designer and SharePoint Designer. PowerApps form still has some ways to go but Flow is really impressive. Watching Microsoft Common Data Model (CDM), it makes you feel it will be the "future" of database. Let's see.   While Relationships between two Entities exist via the Lookup function, Entities need (similar to Access) On Insert, On Update, On Delete ETC Macros, so to be able achieve data integrity at the DB level.   Unless Flow is meant to do this job, then Flow needs to be finetuned to be able doing it. ... First Time Only "Allow" Connections Per Device

I had a tester express to me that no matter how many times he opened any organizational app within the Power Apps Mobile App, each and every time he would be asked to allow connections. This became annoying as he was testing 5 different apps, and bouncing in and out of them all. (FYI: I don't experience this within the Desktop or Web Apps when testing them there.)   Therefore, is there a way to make the allow connections a 'first time only' event for each device? I this case, ideally, once a person has opened an app on their phone, the phone app will recall the allow decisions for that specific device.   Thank you for considering this ask.     ... View more

Control the real time data fetch during program change

Currently it looks like PowerApp will do real time execution as any formula change. In my experience, it significantly hurts the PowerApp performance and many cases, my computer is like in slow motion, the keyboard and mouse will not respond. As I am using the highest model of Surface book, I shall assume other developers may even get worse system performance. My suggestion is to allow the developer to turn off the real time program execution while he/she is doing update to the program. That should improve the system performance. May I ask for additional detail related to this idea:

 

-Are you saying that you would like to stop real time data updates during the build of an app only? 

-Do you want the updates to only occur when you specifically press the play button - or would this configuration prevent run time updates completely until the app is published?

-What experiences will this ability improve for you?

 

Would love to understand your vision better. We really want to facilitate app building for everyone.
