Just checking, have you tried to use the web link in the details screen of an app made with PowerApps to do this?
Thank you for this clarification,
Audrie
I understand your use case. However, could you expand on what you mean by you have to repeat that for each cell?
As an FYI, I had done on video on this here:

Thank you for your clarifications,
Audrie
Adding @FilipK to comment on roadmap.
Thank you for your feedback. Is this something that can be achieved through a custom API or swagger file? Could you provide an example of what you mean? (FYI: @carlosag)
Thank you for your continued feedback and cooperation,
Audrie
Hi @Lucas - sorry for the delay in getting back to you, can you confirm if you're still experiencing this? You should not be able to search values on both the drop down and the combobox. Is there a particular scenario where you can't?
Looks like this was incorrectly set to completed.
If we enable business logic in the form of plug-ins to be applied to these areas, it would enable plug-ins to prevent these operations by throwing an exception in a synchronous plug-in.
Except for user settings, all the events described are items which only trusted people should perform. They don't represent the business logic scenario that plug-ins are designed for.
Rather than jump to an implementation (using plug-ins) can anyone comment on specific scenarios where people want to use these?
Hi @twarson_biz
Does the ability to copy and paste controls across apps help address this issue?
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/copy-and-paste-controls-across-canvas-apps-available/
We do have some more plans in the works to make reusability of different app components easier.
@agneum are you looking specifically just to change the display name of the column, or also its data type? The latter -- consuming data sources with dynamic schema -- is a large work item for canvas apps which are currently very strongly typed, but important for many scenarios and something we are planning for now. Flagging @LanceDelano and @GregLi here.
Could you please review this blog to see if this meets your requirement?

See question below posted by @archanan
Hello @kamil-k!
We truly appreciate your feedback, and were wondering if you would be willing to share what you'd like to see improved in the German version of PowerApps as well. We'd love to see a bulleted list of pros and cons if you have the time to do that. Feel free to type in German if that is more comfortable for you, as we have a diverse team and plenty of translation tools
The localization team is very interested in improving this experience for you. @linhtran is added to facilitate feedback collection with them.
Thank you for your continued feedback and patience as we improve these services, respectfully,
Audrie
What an awesome idea! Have you shared this idea on the Flow Ideas Forum yet?
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Forum/bd-p/FlowForum
Thank you,
Audrie
Adding @archanan to update status pls.
Could you further clarify what you mean by an "item container"? Do you mean like a section group in a form?
Would you mind sharing the business situations where this would be used. This way in addition to reviewing updates possible, we can also offer some ideas on how to address the problem today as well?
Thank you for your clarifications,
Audrie
The rand() function is not intended to handle collection or array-based random number requirements. In common practice, this is best handled by the data source to which you are connected.
Could you please provide an example of a business scenario where you think this wou,d be enhanced by a PowerApp function? (At first glance I might be concerned about the performance impact, and memory requirements, when opening that up to the collection level during runtime.)
Thank you for your ideas and continued feedback,
Audrie
Hi @solution69 - are you suggesting this feature for Outlook or for PowerApps? As jwells also mentioned, looking at Microsoft Flow can do this type of automation as well - you can see the templates available for Office 365 here - https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/shared_office365/office-365-outlook/
As of now if your list or library has a managed meta-data column type from SharePoint, our Form Control will expose the Managed Metadata Column as a Combo Box. (Try creating an app from data where a column in a list is set to a node in the Managed Metadata to see how this works.) This would provide a similar experience in that as they type in the combo box it will search through the tags for relevant choices.
Let me know if this is sufficient for your business scenario, or whether you'd like to achieve something outside of this current state please.
Thank you for your feedback and patience,
Audrie
Adding @anees as FYI
If files are stored to the Azure Blob through use of the File data type you are able to have a 130MB file at this time.
