Hey all,
I have an advanced form, it has an advanced form step called Registration.
Included in this form is a subgrid for 'Routine', so users can create a new routine from this subgrid (basic form)
Right now, when you go to create a new routine, it automatically associates the routine with the registration, as it should, which is great. However there is a second lookup field in Routine that I need to automatically populate and save with the same value as the Registration called 'Competition Location Lookup'
This means when they hit create, it associates the registration as it normally would, but also the same competition location as the registration.
In our model-driven app we could use field mapping to make this work. Clearly you can't do that in Portals. It's important that this value is saved or associated because another lookup in the routine form filters from the competition location.
Hi @5by5T
Still need to work out your problem in the portal. But have you considered embedding your model-driven app in your Portal?
Hope it helps.
