Bind values from entity list column into a dropdown select in Power Apps Portals

Hello Experts!

I have a requirement where I need to get the values from an entity list column inside a dropdown select. I need to fetch the values of an entity list column dynamically and display it in dropdown select. I am not able to use the Render lookup as dropdown as I do not want to use entity form. I need to render the dropdown which fetches values from the entity list column using the web template.

Could anyone please suggest me how to achieve this?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Re: Bind values from entity list column into a dropdown select in Power Apps Portals

Hi, you can retrieve data via oData or FetchXML, you can choose the column and render your dropdown your way

there are several articles on how to retrieve data

http://dyn365apps.com/2017/09/14/dynamics-365-portals-liquid-templates-part-3-retrieve-data-using-fe...

give it a try and let us know if you are facing any issues

Re: Bind values from entity list column into a dropdown select in Power Apps Portals

When using oData, you will be retrieving data generated according to the Entity List configuration

you entity list is always referring to a view in your CDS, so you can add just one attribute there if you want

you can view more info at:
