Hello all,
I'm testing power bi embedded in the power portal and made a simple case. But how does it work with the defined roles based on current user. I see a lot on the web but it should be easily be done in the liqued tag right? Can someone help?
He is my tag:
{% powerbi authentication_type:"powerbiembedded" path:"https://app.powerbi.com/groups/289995fc-fe4c-4bda-8f13-46e8cb8233a2/reports/5e52eea8-f369-4176-a996-4f5252b024e6/ReportSection" roles:"Dynamic RLS" %}</div>
Here is the role i defind in the power bi report.
Hi @Robin1988 ,
You correctly passed the role from the portal to the Power BI. But I am not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve here. Can you explain in more detail? Regarding your DAX expression - as far as I recall USERPRINCIPALNAME when report is viewed by the portal user should return its email.
Hello @OOlashyn thx for your reply!
I was hoping to see this in the portal, when I'm activating the view with the role RLS:
But in the portal it's not even loading:
So I was wondering did I miss something in the liquid tag? Or an other setting to make this work..
Have a nice day sir!
