Dear Community,
We're building a Power Apps Portal to permit external users to get access to all products and information of our providers.
We would like to know in the product list bellow :
(screenshot of product list with a button that should redirect to the second list)
Is it possible to configure this button so the external users will be redirected to a new page with a list which give all information concerning the owner of the product ? (like Phone number - email adress - URL website...)
I Hope it will be enough for you to understand my issue,
Thank you in advance for your help,
Nbougourd
Hi Nico,
From what it looks like, you are using an Entity List to render out your list of Products.
If this is the case, then showing related Product information is actually really easy.
The first step will be to create an Entity Form that targets the Product table, with the columns displayed that you would like shown when a Product is selected.
The second step will be to create a new Web Page that has your Entity Form on it (since we want the users to go to a new page rather than open up an Entity Form itself).
Once that is complete, you can setup your Entity List to have a "Details" button which is in the "Options"area, and there should be an option to have the Target Type as Webpage. Once selected, you should be able to pick your web page created in the second step above, and once you give the button a label this will be available to your external users.
Keep in mind, the external users will need Read permission for the Product entity through Entity Permissions or else the button and form will be inaccessible.
If you have any questions please let me know!
Thanks!

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply,
It helped us but we wanted to make the product list button redirect to an account table form based on the company name. Is it possible?
We had thought about modifying the condition part in the web form but we did not know what to put in it.
Regards,
NBougourd
Hey Nico,
I'm glad my first response helped you out a bit.
To navigate to an Account record based on the Company Name is an interesting scenario, as the portal is built to display information for a record based on its primary key (GUID) not the name of the record.
In order to achieve this, there's no easy way to do so from an Entity List without some sort of customization. Since we can only get access to the ID of the record in the Entity List, you would have to build an intermediate page that would have liquid code on it to retrieve the Product based on the query string ID, find the associated Account, and then navigate automatically to the Account page that has the Entity Form with the ID of the Account added into the URL.
The alternative to this would be to customize the Entity List to have a link in the list that would bring you to the associated Account record. This would remove the requirement to have the link in the drop-down and have it directly in the list itself.
@nickdoelman has a wonderful blog post about setting this up and can be used as a tutorial to hopefully get what you need. Nick's example includes a list of Event Sessions with a link to go to the associated Event to view details. This is along the same lines of your list of Products with a link to go to the associated Account to view details.

As a side note - I have not investigated the functionality of Advanced Forms (Web Forms) in quite some time, so I can't really recommend an approach using those, but if the information above doesn't seem to help you I can definitely investigate on my side and let you know if there's a potential resolution.
Thanks!
