Hello all,
I try to share a website on social media like linkedin, but my pictures is missing. The picture are inserted as html kode:
<img alt="Image Description" class="w-100" src="/nyheter/990-000-for-digital-suksess/videomeeting.jpg"> as a webfile.
Do i need to do something to get the image show when sharing the website. Any ideas?
I have tried to insert metadata tags i the portal editor, but the tags disappears when i save.
Thank you!
Best Regards

hi, I wrote a blog article a while ago on this topic: https://oliverrodrigues365.com/2020/06/14/power-apps-portals-adding-head-meta-tag/
in my example I am using Facebook but should be very similar, in my experiences there was a caching issue on the Facebook that it made very annoying to test the functionality .. perhaps LinkedIn might have the same issue
just make sure you follow the steps on the article and be patience with the possible caching issue

Thank you! This is great.
I am going to share multiple articles (with different meta tags). How could i make this dynamic or do i need to make a content snippet for each article?
Best regards

You can add as many tags as you want in that Content Snippet, but not sure I am answering your question

Thank you Oliver!
Based on your blog article i figure it out.
I did make the content snippet as you did, and put some liquid code in the metatags.
For the information to be filled inn i open the Web Page scroll down to Miscellaneous and filled out Description field and Image URL field (see pictures).
You can use linkedin post inspector to check your posts: https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/ and facebook debugger to check the posts on facebook: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
Best regards
Kim
