Moving Power Apps Portal to different region

Hello Experts!

Can we move the Power Apps Portal created in one region to another? Will that cause any effects on the customizations in the Portal? Could anyone please suggest how to keep a backup for the Portal?

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hello Powerappsuser5,

Power Apps portals doesn't support tenant to tenant migration. To migrate a portal from one tenant to another, you must follow these steps:

  1. Reset your portal in the source tenant.

  2. Provision a new portal in an environment with Common Data Service or containing customer engagement apps.

  3. Migrate portal configurations and customizations using the export and import steps explained in this article earlier.

Or you could create an environment in a different region than where your tenant resides and migrate your latest portal configuration from development to testing or this the production environments.

Migration involves exporting the existing configuration from the source Common Data Service environment, and then importing it into the target Common Data Service environment.
