Portal PowerApps in Gov Tenant - Advanced Form Step Attribute Validation Issues

Issue 1 - How can I hide or ignore default value for an Yes/No field?

Details: I am unable to hide/ignore Yes/No field default value when rendered on the web page.

Below is what I have done so far:

The Yes/No field is sitting on a Step2 of the Advanced Form.

If I place the Yes/No field on Step 1, then I am able to make "ignore default" validation step work.  However, the same does not work if placed on Step2 of the Portal PowerApps.

What could be a work around? Please see below:

Issue 2 - How to give an error message and prevent submission if Submitter selects "No" and tries to submit the form?

Details:   On my Web Form at the end there are some Statements and there after there is a Yes/No radio button. The Submitter must click "Yes" to agree with the Statements above in order to submit the form. If Submitter selects No (default) then it should throw an error message and prevent the submission.  How do I go about achieving this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

I was able to resolve the issue(s).

The trick is to change the Yes/No field to a check box and then ignore the default value for the check box in the Portal Management configuration of Metadata.

Maybe instead of using a Yes/No field (boolean), you can use a Choice field with values Yes/No/(Blank)
