Portal Profile Page

Hi,

When a user signs in using Azure AD for the first time, they are directed to the Profile page with 'First Name', 'Last Name' and 'E-Mail' autofilled from the User Table, is it possible to expand this to 'Business Phone' and 'Title'.

I have searched but cannot find where the autofill command is coming from.

Many Thanks, Barry

Hi @USSJona

Yes it is possible. Here are the steps for you.

1. Log in to make.powerapps.com

2. Choose the right environment

3.  Go to solutions > New Solution > Give a name

4. Once the solution is created > Add existing> Table> Choose > Contact Table > Next

5. Select Include all components and Metadata

Once Contact is added to the solution

1. Click Contact Table > Profile Web Form ( Main)

2. Three dots > Edit form in new Tab

3. Select Table column from the left > Add new fields if required or use the existing field

4. Save and Publish

Key:

In the solution> Publish all customizations

In portal studio:

Sync config> Browse website > Ctrl + F5 (hard refresh)

Click profile page then you can see your updated page.

Hope it helps.

Many thanks for your reply @ragavanrajan ,

Will the above method autofill the 'Business Phone' & 'Title' from the 'User' table, as happens with 'First Name' & 'Last Name', or is there another step ?

Barry,

My apologies @USSJona . I misread your question.

This is a workaround. Hope this will be suitable for your scenario.

Once you added your fields as I mentioned above for the profile web form.  Make the fields as Read-only if required.

In Power Automate:  Using Azure AD

1. Select dataverse trigger ( Screenshot below) (When a row is added, modified or deleted).

2. Adding the flow steps below for your reference. (All marked boxes are important)

Note: You can try Added also. I have tested both change type. Both are working

Output:

If the change type is modified when they hit the Update button on the profile page then flow will trigger

Hope it helps.
