Hi Experts,
I am getting an error as "Server Error in '/' Application " when I try to browse the Portal. What would be the cause of this issue? How can this be fixed ? Could anyone please help..
Thanks In advance
by any chance would you have deleted/deactivated the Home Web Page?
or would you remember the last change you have made? can you try to revert it?
you can also go to Admin Center and:
- Restart Portal --> this will just perform the equivalent to an IIS Reset
- Reset Portal --> this will restore completely with the OOB settings from the Portal, you would lose every configuration

Hi,
Does this happen with all URLs within your portal or only the home "/" ?
Is it a new Portal that you just set-up or it was working before? If it was working before did you change something?
Last but not least, in the make.powerapps portal, select the Portal record and then edit to access the Portal Designer and once you are there check if the issue happens again when you click "Browse Website"

Hi @OliverRodrigues ,
The Portal was working fine before. I had just changed one of the Page's parent page from home page to page-x. The Home page is still there. I just went to web pages on the Portal management app and opened the web page whose parent page was to be changed. After that I am getting this issue. Could you please help me on fixing this..
Thanks a lot!
have you tried reverting the change you've made ? and cleared the cache?
you can clear the cache either using Sync Configuration or Restart Portal from the Admin center

I tried reverting the changes, still that is not working..
Best way to debug it is
a) run portal checker, see if it gives suggestion
b) enable diagnostic logging or disable custom errors to see what the real error is.
I am also facing the same error but can run portal checker because somehow I am not even the Global Administrator even though I created that portal instance.
Any idea about
this??
PFA screenshots for reference.
Same error here, someone have managed to resolve this problem?
Hi @0rigami
