PowerApps Param() function not working

I am wondering if anyone can assist with a PowerApps issue I am currently trying to resolve.

Background

I am trying to configure a deep link into a specific PowerApps Screen by using the Param() function.On the App OnStart, I have set the below condition

If(Param("DeepLink") = "Display", Navigate(Display, Fade))

however if you click on the Param, it throw up an error as shown below

(PowerApps encountered an internal error trying to evaluate this expression)

Hi @MT-Pisaris

What you have there should work. The most likely reason why you receive this error in the designer is because at design time, your "DeepLink" parameter won't be set.

If you find that this doesn't work at runtime, can you confirm that you've published your app?

To debug this, if you add a label on your initial screen and set the text property to the following, does the label display the parameter value that you pass?

Param("DeepLink")
