Hi Everyone,
Currently on quite a tight deadline to create a very simple one page portal that has two dropdowns for staff name and student name. I have created a entity in CDS and made a form that has two option set fields in it with just a whole list of names - when filling up the option set we put the names in all alphabetically.
However when we now go to the portal and the dropdown they are all jumbled again and makes it incredibly difficult for students to find their own name and teacher.
Does anyone know anything about this and any way to solve this - any help would be greatly appreciated as this is on quite a tight deadline!
the Portals will take the order of the options in your optionset
you can set the order in the old/classic editor using the arrows highlighted below

Hi,
Thank you so much for a reply. I haven't used the CDS (option sets, etc much at all) - how do you get to the classic view like this?
Thanks!
there are a few ways to navigate to the classic view
one way is open your solution in CDS, select your entity and click on the ellipses (...) on the command bar, and finally click on switch to classic
this will open the classic view, on the left menu select "Fields" for your entity, and then open the option set field that you will find the options above
