Subject Tree in Dynamics Portal

Hi!

we established the subject tree in the customer-service application, however when displayed within our custom portal the subject tree wont show as dropdown, it is shown with all the sub-subjects expanded.

Is there a way of copying the dropdown behaviour from the customer service app with javascript ?
