Using a PowerApp portal page as a lead page?

I'm trying to determine whether using a single page in a PowerApp portal as a lead page is feasible (and a good idea 😉 ).

One challenge I've encountered is that to avoid the user being distracted would be removing the header from the page.  Is this possible for a single page?

Would also be interested to hear if anyone else has achieved this.

Thanks,

Phil

Re: Using a PowerApp portal page as a lead page?

@philstubbington - I believe you meant creating a page that captures leads for you. If yes, then that's very much possible. in CDS just create an entity and fields for this. Create an entity form and put in on the web page. It;s not at all a bad idea 🙂

For the specific ask around header. A web page by default has the header and footer. But you can choose to not show it.

For this the page that you are creating has to inherit from a Page Template where the User website Header and Footer field on the template record is unchecked (false). Quickly try this out by going to the the Page Template that your page currently references and uncheck this particular field to stop showing the header and footers. Please note that this change will apply to all the pages that are currently referenced by this template. Also this step needs to be done via Portal Management companion app that is provided with portals. You  can search on web on how to create a portal page to use custom page templates

Re: Using a PowerApp portal page as a lead page?

Hi @philstubbington ,

Do you want to use a page of  a PowerApp portal as PowerApps studio's  lead page?

I'm afraid it's not supported in PowerApps currently.

PowerApps studio's lead page is generated by system automatically.

You can not customize it.

I suggest you express your views about customizing PowerApps studio on PowerApps Ideas Forum. Your precious feedback will be very helpful for our work.

Re: Using a PowerApp portal page as a lead page?

Thanks Sandeep.

Another feature that would be useful would be the ability to have a countdown timer on the lead page (for an evergreen webinar, for example).  I know there are event marketing features in Dynamics 365 for Marketing, but wondered whether Power App Portals might provide this sort of functionality too?
