Groups property in control manifest

Hey,

Can we use <group /> in ControlManifest it is working for me, but wanted to ask is it okay to use or it is unsupported??

Hello @sheldoncopper73 ,

do you mean "type-group"? If so then there's limited support on ththe types used.

@sheldoncopper73  It's not defined in schema of the manifest file. I believe you can use it. What's the purpose? Do you want to store some settings inside and read it from the code of component?

Just exploring thought it will be very useful

@sheldoncopper73, this is not supported. At least this does not do anything in PCF components that should work across different platforms (not sure if it did anything in legacy apps though).
