having a couple of issues with the recently released build tools:
1. Timeout errors - if the task can't export (or import) my solution in 2 minutes, a timeout error occurs and the build fails. Even though Timeout is set to 0 on the task (which seems to mean "infinite")
2. There seem to be no "solution upgrade" task. Without that task, using "import as holding" does not make sense
Love your perseverance on making the Build Tools work before we get the timeout issues resolved - THANK YOU 🙂 We were not aware of the issue you highlighted - thanks for reporting it. We'll take a look and include a fix in a future release
Just a note to you let you all know that we pushed an update yesterday that addresses the timeout issue (along with a few other things). Please take it for a spin and as usual, we LOVE feedback – good and bad equally appreciated
Thanks for letting us know @Mikkelsen2000
Where was the update pushed to and what is the expected version? I'm still seeing version 1.0.6 accross the board:
Ahh - my bad - it's the AzureDevOps build tools https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/build-tools-tasks - I thought you were referring to the PCF CLI!
Any update on the second question in the original post?
There seem to be no "solution upgrade" task. Without that task, using "import as holding" does not make sense.
Ping @Mikkelsen2000 🙂
