PowerApps Build Tools support for MFA etc

This is still one of the major show stoppers for the MS version of build tools.

Being forced to using username/password takes all environments following MS best practice out of the game.

AFAIK, that is.... if not, please enlighten me on how to set up my generic service connection 🙂

@rappen You are correct that we need to sign in username/password. More information about how to PowerApps Build tools task please refer to our official documentation here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/build-tools-tasks

If you think it helps please mark my reply as a solution.

Thanks.

Sorry, it does not help very much...

This post is to get news about updates when will we have MFA support??

Not just the fact that it's not there yet, I know that and that's why I created the post 😉

Thanks,

Jonas

@rappen are you talking about pac pcf push command? I have never tested if it supports MFA but even it doesn't you always can build solution locally and import it using UI/powershell.

Nope, talking about the PowerApps Build Tools.
For Azure DevOps.

@a33ik Microsoft seem to be using this forum as a dumping ground for all the developer / code issues within Power Apps. When the forum began last year it was for PCF alone but it now seems to cover PCF, Application Lifecycle management and Pro Dev which I think means any and all Javascript and plugin related issues.

On one level it makes perfect sense as the D365 forums have always been more user focused but it does put a lot of topics in this one area.
