Solution version number when using pac pcf push

Hi,

I know the control evrsion is not adaptable, but can we update gthe solution version?

I added 1.0.0.0 in the Solution.xml, but the solution in Dynamics Always shows as 1.0.

Is tehre an option to change or will it Always be 1.0?

I do this as part of the CI/CD pipeline using a powershell script similar to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/scripts/powershell?view=azure-devops

You just need to adjust the search pattern.

Hope this helps!

Hi @binau ,

Do you want to change the version number of your code component using pac pcf push command?

If you want to change the version number of your code component using pac pcf push command, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently. The available cmdlets supported under the pac pcf push command as below:

Currently, if you want to change the version number of your code component, you need to edit the ControlManifest.Input.xml file of your Code Component, then change the version attribute of the <control> tag. And then re-build your Code Component project, package it into a Solution file, then deploy the new packaged Solution file into your CDS again to override the previous one.
