how to filter and auto select filtered items in list box

Hi Mates,

We have a dropdown, and list boxes (lst1,lst2).

1. When select value/Item from dropdown then lst1 has to load values corresponding values in the row.

2. During loading items in to lst1, auto Select(multi selection if more than one) the loaded items in lst1.

Actual table format:

data1.PNG

dropdown loads Company data : Apple,NokiamSamsung.

lst1: Table.Model

first when user select value from dropdow: Apple  then lst1 has to load

example snap shot below.

test.PNGtestnokia.PNG

reason why we are asking auto selection is based on selected items from lst1, lst2 values has to load automatically.

Reply/Help will be highly appreciate

Hi @kmk ,

The functionality is easy to implement, however the listbox doesn't support multiple default selections, Reference:List Box control in Power Apps . So you can use a Gallery that looks like a list box, please follow the steps from mr-dang.

A few points on your case:

1. the Gallery.Items property is the Excel Table1

2. add a ID column in the Table1, so RecordId in the tutorial is that ID column

3. set the Dropdown.Items property:

Distinct(Table1,Company)

4. set Dropdown.OnChange property:

ClearCollect(temp,Filter(Table1,Company=DropdownName.Selected.Result))

Hope this helps.
