Hello RPA developers,
I noticed on my virtual machine that something is building and taking a lot amount of disk space. I've come across a folder in Users\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power Automate Desktop\Scripts\...\Runs
and there are some folders under \Runs which holds a lot of data, maybe some history of each flow that was ever started on the machine or something like that?
Does anyone know what kind of files is PAD storing there and is it safe to delete them, because now they already grown above 5GB?
Kind regards,
Kresimir
Solved! Go to Solution.
The files stored in AppData stores run history from what I can see - they act as audit logs. If you don't need them, you can delete them. You could write a bat script and schedule it to run once a day to delete the files in the folder. I have been doing it too and I've had no issues. It's important to keep an eye on it, especially if you're running it on a server. It can become a very expensive solution in terms of infrastructure.
I'm having the same issue, I've been deleting everything manually and so far I didn't notice any problems. I would also like to know if this is actually safe.

Thank you for clarifying that for us 😉 I presumed that it was something like that.
