Hi, appreciate if someone can advise on this. I tried to search similar thread but I cant find any for this folder. I need advice on the following power automate desktop log spamming problem.
- The folder of the logs are in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Power Automate\Logs
- The power automate desktop is installed in Windows Server 2016.
- PAD version: 2.24.179.22266
Problem
There are multiple logs getting created every seconds, which I am not sure why. This logs spamming issue started since 17 Oct 2022, before this, there was no issue. I am not sure what has changed, and this has caused the consumption of diskspace that I need to manually delete them hourly / daily.
1 day will consume total 70gb++ to 100gb++, which will fill up the diskspace and cause issue as my PAD is suppose to save a file but unable to, due to insufficient diskspace.

Hi there
Just thought I'd give you a quick update on this - I've managed to get in touch with the PAD team and they have confirmed that they're aware of the issue and are planning on releasing a fix in the next update.
As a workaround until then, we have set up a scheduled task which regularly deletes the log files out of the folder on our machine, and the system seems to been working fine since.
Hopefully this will get patched soon 🤞
Hi there
Unfortunately I don't have a solution but we are having the exact same issue since Friday.
Our machine are constantly getting filled with Logs every few seconds.
We cleared it last night and overnight we had 120GB of logs again.
This causes the disk space to fill up and therefore the Power Automate service to stop running. Which means the PAD flows triggered to the machine stop working.
This is causing major issues as we use these PAD flows across the business!
Glad to know I am not the only one having this problem.
Could it cause by the recent update of PAD? (maybe Microsoft PAD changed the way of logging stuff).
My version of PAD: 2.24.179.22266
We are also on version 2.24.179.22266.
Here are the release notes for this version but I can't see anything mentioning Logs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/power-automate-desktop/2209.1
According to the website there should have been another new version yesterday but it's not been released yet.

I'm having the same issue on one of the machines. There was over 30GB of log files. I deleted them because it started to fill up the disk space. There was PAD 2.22 version installed.

Any news on the Microsoft update to solve this problem? I have the same issue. It's amazing how much log data it's writing. In just a few days, it created 150K files and 300GB of data.
And I am on the latest 2.25.72.22312
Any progress on the update from Microsoft to solve this issue?
I am running the latest version, and my log files are going crazy. 150K files and 300GB of data in just 4 days.

Would you please share the details of the task that deletes the files? I tried setting up a PAD process, but it does not have the privileges to delete the log files. When I manually delete them from File Explorer, I have to give admin approval for all the files to be deleted.
For other people's benefit, here are the instructions I used to set up a task to delete files 1 day and older:
