Hi,
I am trying to read UI elements on a Java Applet. Unfortunately, the UI recorder is not able to recognize the elements. As a workaround, I tried to use Image recorder which works for some elements but fails to work on others.
Any help will be great.
Thanks.
As of now, Power Automate Desktop do not support applications based on JAVA 11.
However the implementation for Java 11 support is already in progress and will be released in the next PAD version.
If the application is based on lesser version of Java then the Power Automate Desktop should be able to capture controls.
Try with the latest version of the Power Automate Desktop.
Hi,
Any update on this?
I'm trying to capture IU elements from a java-based website and I cannot extract any. I'm using the latest version of PAD.
Hi @Anonymous . How are you?
Did you find a solution for this?
Having the same issue where i cannot extract UI element from a java-based website using PAD with edge, but the same thing works fine with Internet explorer.
Now we cannot really rely on internet explorer as it is getting descope soon.
Any ideas on the later @fraenK ?
Maybe this is a 32 vs 64 bit issue? Which bit version is the Java runtime and browser in? Can you select the elements using "inspect.exe"? Did you enable the Java accessibility option?
Hi!
I'm having the same issue.
Already applied all the suggestions, like the jva bridge, reviews all the properties files, configurations, and seems everything it's ok, but still can't read some UI elements. Have any updates on this?
I'm usingthe last PAD version.
Thanks..
Fix for that is to download PAD 2.21.xxx. it contains the fix . Cheers
