Robotic process in Finance departments using power automate

Hi,

 

Just want to know what kind of process needs automation in finance departments in the office.

For ex: We can automate the invoice processing..

 

I would like to know and explore the different process that can be effectively automated using power automate. If anyone has an experience and if you would like to please share.

If u having 2-3 invoices u can work with PAD or if u having many invoice u can go for AI builder.

Radhika,

 

It depends largely on the industry.  Some items that should be common across the board would be:

Creating invoices (AR)
Processing and Paying Bills (AP)
Budget vs Actual (lots of cost accounting could be useful in UI automation)
Payroll
Compensation calculations (bonuses or revenue sharing type calculations)

We are building out all of our month-end close, quarter-end close, and validations.  Literally, any processes that can be logically broken down into step-by-step procedures and has little to no non-logical decision making is being automated through the use of PAD and Excel VBA.
