I have an excel column called "Trader Name" that I'm trying to match to a specific drop-down value on a webpage.
However using the "Set drop-down list value on webpage" action unless the value in my excel column exactly matches a row in the webpage drop-down it will fail.
Is there any way of partially matching a row in the webpage drop-down i.e. Breeze Motor in my excel column would match and select Breeze Motor Co Ltd, Yarrow Road, Poole, BH12 4QY in the webpage drop-down?
Hi,
I don't know do you still looking for a solution for this but here is a little example for help:
NewVar for searching the part text. For testing, it's easier to use like this.
car.xlsx has a couple of car company names.
Read the excel and go on each value of it starts with the NewVar.
This is in the IF statement.
You can use the CurrentItem to add to the Option Name in the select drop-down
Hope the content above may help you.
Best Regards
