Add manual start buttons in outlook

I'd love to be able to have a "Start Flow" button in outlook that would let me activate a flow for a selected email, task, event, etc. This way, I could select an email, for example, and hit a button that would create a project plan for it, or do anything else I can do with flow.

I would like a Flow add-in button that allows users the ability to move e-mails from Outlook to a specific location (ex. SharePoint site) and apply metadata to those files for searchabiliuty purposes.

Hi, 

I was able to create a flow that would move emails into a sharepoint list from both private and shared email boxes.  The main part is to make sure your sharepoint list has all of the necessary columns that are in the email and the list must be in 365.  You can use the Outlook app or the Outlook 365 email boxes though to pull any emails from.

You would use the "When a New Email Arrives" trigger, select the folder you want to pull from, and then select the "create item" from the sharepoint actions.  For the URL use the main landing page and the lists associated with it will populate into the dropdown below that field.  From there it is just a matter of selecting the information you want populated into which fields from the email

Thanks for your comment, I actually created a Flow doing the exact same thing but my issue is more around adding metadata to the file that is being moved. 

Here is a little context for my particular scenario. I am working with a team that primarily deals in e-mails. These emails are stored in a SP Records Center but each file has particular metadata applied to it such as EID and email/leave type. Curently they are using a third party tool which allows them the ability to move documents from their inboxes to the SPRC with the click of a button. Considering this is a large team there are a few issues that arise when using a shared inbox or even individual flows for each user.

My hope is to get some type of add-in that adds this functionality.

@Stephen Just curious, since this is now going on to 5 years old, is there any movement with this idea? Is it still under review?

@Stephen when pressing the button one must chose the flow, and when it's a button triggered flow, we should be able to fill in the additional parameters.
