Add the From field on the action “Send Approval email” like the "Send email" Action
You can now customize who the Approval appears from - read more here: https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/button-types-more/
Any update on this? We planned to roll out several flow solutions to our businesses but now we are hesitating .......
Yes, this is going to be essential. I've built a number of Flows from a SharePoint list and defined sender as the Created By email, but because I've created the Flow, all of the emails at the top indicate they are from me.
@Stephen any updates on resolving this issue? Thanks.
Hi - apologies that there hasn't been an update recently. We still have this feature planned, in the meanwhile we recommend trying out Chimosh's suggestion above.
Chimosh's suggestion is really great however not all organisation will approve to create a dummy account. It has to go through a lot of approvals and changes of getting approved are very slim. These organisations are depending on your enhancement. We request you to get this into the flow so that its easy for all of us.
@Stephen what is the timeline for a solution? Creating a dummy account is not an option within my organization.
Is it possible to let approval action automatically select email or connection of user who triggers the flow from team flows?
I create and manage the flows for my company, however when I build the approval flows the approval emails are sent with the messages "requested by" and my name, when the actual requester was triggered by a form response and will be someone else.
There should be a way to change who this is coming from espcially for people like myself who are the main users of flow for their departments/company and processes.
Exact same issue.
Same issue for me, is there a solution?
