Is this really a question as to whether or not you need to do this. It is a failry obvious feature if you are approving anything other than basic text requests like vacation.
This is a planned work item. We've started with the Link and Link description fields to satisfy the same purpose. @Anonymous,@mdziados - Could you elaborate which connectors you're using in conjunction with the Approval action?
Hi @merwan I am using the SharePoint connector with the Outlook connector. What I am trying to do is when an attachment is added to the SharePoint item that we can reference that attachment in the Outlook connector to email the attachment from the SP list using outlook. I know we can link to the item but was wondering if grabbing the attachment from the SP list into the Outlook email being sent will be possible.
Same here. SharePoint list to an outlook connector. I want to be able to view the attachment in the outlook mobile app without having to log in to sharepoint or use the sharepoint mobile app.
Is there a way to keep the attachment all the way through the different levels of approval e-mails? I want to be able to attach the attachment to each approval e-mail, so the person can know what they are approving, instead of receiving a seperate e-mail.
Yes, i personally see this as one of the MUST features when we deal with SharePoint Lists.
List Item attachements would make sense to the email receiver (be it approval or normal email), so he/she can refer the attachemtns within the email (ofcourse link to the item attachment). This saves lot of time and number of clicks back and forth. Appreciate MS team, if this is addressed asap.
This feature is completed - you can read more here: https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/file-attachments-in-approval-flows/
