It would be beneficial to have an approval which could also accept values for additional fields and update those fields on underlying list. For example, an application for a recurring reimbursed cost to an employee would provide approve, reject, etc., but also allow for selecting the amount to approve and entry of a cost center to handle the cost. Providing those fields in an approval or approval email would be a great time save and eliminate the need for the approver to go back into another app (PowerApps) to do the approval step.

Another scenario would be to just enter the reason for a reject. That is at least not possible when using the "Send Email with options" (hope this is the right tranlation) block of the Outlook actions.
