Drag a file from your file system onto the Synced Folder for OneDrive for Business (or SP), then the Trigger that is suppsoed to indicate a file has changed does **not** fire. Do the same action for a folder shown in the browser version of OneDrive for Business and the trigger does fire.
I believe I know the root cause. Lalit Pandey (Engineer - Microsoft Business Intelligence) and I worked on this together and we identified the root cause.
1. When you drop a file on the file system the last modified date is the same as the date of the original file. (So it might be May 1, 2010)
2. When you drop a file on the browser the last modified date is "now." the current date and time, and this causes the trigger (WHen a file is modified) to fire.
This means that if you have a flow that is triggered by the file being dropped on the browser, it works, but by the file being dropped on the file explore (Windows) or Finder (Mac) it doesn;t work.
