Email Headers as Dynamic Content

Hello there,

I would like to have the possibility of having access to the headers of the email as the Dynamic Content. While my particular need is to use the Message-Id email header (which is different from the Message Id dynamic content item), I would generalize this idea to add a new Dynamic Content item called Email Header, in which the user could enter the name of the header. I understand this would mean a slight modification in the Dynamic Content functionality, as this doesn't allow user's input at the moment.

My use case: when creating the tasks in Todoist from selected emails, I would like to add a link into the task description. This would allow me to open the email in question in the email client (Airmail) directly from the task in Todoist. The email client uses the Message-Id header to identify the message.

Regards,

Peter

Let me build on peter’s idea

i am using approval emails. Some times users don’t respond. so I need to send a reminder, ideally building on the original email.

Today i can’t access the email ids of messages i get or send in previous steps easily.

enhancing dynamic content would make our lives a lot easier.

Eexposing message headers is essential - In my case looking to inspect the  Auto-Submitted header field (indicates that the message was originated by an automatic process)  to handle auto-responses in a flow.

Also, I get a lot of emails from salesforce.com, for example, and the 'from' field does not allow accurate identification, however the x-header field x-sender domain is consistent (*.salesforce.com).  would be appreciated if the headers were exposed in dynamic content.

I need access in flow to the header to get at for: .  My users send emails to an alias and the for line in the header is the only way I can distinguish the alias that was used.
