We need a trigger for new Flows, Connectors, PowerApps to alert our users/admin.
Thx in advance
I agree as right now it's very reactive with delay instead of being able to take actions as soon as an App or a Flow is created.
If I understand your question correctly, you can do this by creating a Flow using the "Get list of new PowerApps, Flows and Connectors" template. I get an email every Wednesday that lists any newly created PowerApps and Flows, along with who created them. Additionally, it includes a list of new Connectors.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Agreed with you and @ZePowerDiver (hey Eric!), would be most beneficial for admins to setup some "gates" to preempt new App/Flow/Env/Data Gateway(ESPECIALLY) creation. You could check out the PowerPlatform Center of Excellence tool . Its not for the faint of heart, but it does kick serious app. Its also under constant development and improving all the time!
This is a feature that would be very nice to have. Certainly with the API request limitations that will be enforced later on.
Now we can make a loop that goes through all flows and power apps and detects if there is a new one. Such looping consumes thousands of API calls.
This trigger could be used to create for example a welcome mail when a user creates a new flow. This welcome mail can inform users about which connectors can be used (the ones in the business group in the DLP policy) and so on.
Well put! I concur!
