Trigger a flow when an email is sent to an Office 365 group mailbox.
This will be helpful to:
- Save attachments sent to a group to team document library or one drive (something like incoming emails on SharePoint on prem)
- Automate creation of events based on email sent to a group mailbox

Understood, there are workarounds. All of which require an IT admin to do something - creation of another mailbox to be a member, etc. - which puts me right back in the camp of just using a Shared Mailbox, which flows will trigger from. Again, we need a solution that does not require an IT admin. A user should be able to create an O365 Group and then create a Flow that triggers off of emails sent to the group - not off emails sent to members of the group, as many of our members want to be in the group, but don't want all of the emails (and don't talk to me about using rules on the members inboxes to 'hide' the emails and trigger the flow). The request here is to have a Flow trigger for emails sent to an O365 Group, not to any of the members. And for that, there currently is no user centric solution. To that end, the Flow team should either put this on the roadmap to implement or decline it.

Amen. I just started, and this is the first thing I want to do with groups - set up tasks associated with emails. The request is 18 months old and it is clear - please either say yes or let us know not to bother waiting...
The proposed solution in by MS is useless. You have to subscribe to the group and have the group send emails to your inbox, then create a flow to track those messages now cluttering your inbox. Yeah, you could set filters, but what if the inbox you've set it on gets deleted if that person leaves? That is the whole point of the group box. It never gets deleted no matter who is there.
Please add this support for Group inboxes.
@Sunay you have misunderstood the request completely. We need a way for flow to monitor the Outlook Group inbox directly; no via someone else's individual mail inbox. Someone else said it better than me: "looking for a trigger that works indipendent from a users mailbox, it should trigger on the arrival of a new mail in the office 365 group mailbox itself. What Sunay describes is indeed a workaround that, I admit, works. But there's no garantee the personal mailbox will exist forever (if the user leaves the company...)"
This is more of a workaround than a solution. Can the option to trigger from new email in O365 group be added?
I've solved the problem at my business like this:
1. U can subscribe all message of a group with a "third"-intern mailmox.
2. If there is a new incoming mail with a specific tag (we use by comments every time the @sign) and the text includes PLANNER, then it will send this text to this specific person
This is not a solution. It is a workaround.
Can an update on this be provided please? I believe reading through 16 pages of comments should cover the "Need Info" requirement. Simply the solutions listed here and by Micrsoft are workarounds. I don't want to be personally cc'd on every help request I want to use this for - the whole point of O365 groups and teams is to eliminate redundant email clutter and get collaboration working better. To be honest, this feels like a real miss for Flow and Microsoft
