me too. how about making things work across the platform. Super weird how you guys consistently fragment your own products into confusing, time wasting, and slightly different named products. 3 onedrive versions is bad enough to deal with. But not allowing your own products to work with your own products consistently across the platform is extremely frustrating.
I hope you will take MichaelDot's well-considered comment to heart. It's a broad and, it seems to me, accurate OneNote (and OneDrive, and 365, and ....) specific and general characterization of the state-of-affairs at Microsoft Corp.
Google (for example) has choosen not to put barriers like this across its product lines. It's not a perfect ecosystem, but it is less fragmented, IMHO. Ok, you are one whole anti-trust lawsuit ahead of GOOG so far. But those scars should be fading by now.
I get that you want to make money on "Flow" and other products. I was, and continue to be, willing to pay the $5 / month. But it would be a hassle to upgrade my MSFT Office relationship to "Business" for my, essentially, one personal-use PC just to figure out how to build a better personal OneNote task flow.
Completely agree. Not having Onenote (Personal) in Flow and not allowing cross platform tagging in OneNote keep me from replacing IFTTT, Filethis, and Evernote.
I'd say it's ridicioulous not to be able to do that.
I can easily integrate it with Integromat which is a 3rd party but cannot do it here. Doesn't sound reasonable to me. Wanted to switch to Azure but it seems impossible in this case ๐
I'm extremely angry at Microsoft for not support OneNote that is connected to my Office 365 Home (PAID) account as well. It sucks to have to go to something like IFTTT or Zapier to get workflow support that comes as part of my subscription, however, will not work because it's not connected to a business or school account.
Shows how big Microsoft's blinders are ... PI$$es me off!
This idea is well over a year old and no response yet. Supporting your consumer, paid, customers is also critical. I have integrations IFTTT don't support but I would hope my paid MS tentant would.
