That is definitely more clever, but I am talking about FREE solution for PDF conversion:

Sharepoint/Get file content

OneDrive/Create File  

OneDrive/Convert (PDF)

OneDrive/Delete File

SharePoint/Create file

This definitely works on docx files and suits my simple needs.

That would be perfect for me if Flow supported managed metadata columns 😞

You create a content type having the colums of your wish.

You set this content type working from a dotx file that includes your metadata in the docx  using word quick parts / document properties.

You can set these metadata with sharePoint/update file properties ction from Flow.

The above PDF conversion will then engrave your metadate into the PDF (text).

I used the above to have a fixed header for my SOP documents listing Approver and approval date etc.

Conversion of a document to PDF is sort of a must in many document workflows. As this is already present in Word Online (download as PDF), it will be a logical next step to include it in Flow too.

My content type has 7 managed metadata columns which are still not picked up by the update file properties command. I have had word that this will be working by the end of the year

When will you be releasing this feature for SharePoint please because I still cannot copy a file which has 7 managed metadata columns between libraries?
