There's probably already a bunch of ideas posted for this but I couldn't find any after a quick search. It would be helpful to have some planner triggers, specifically one for when a task was deleted (or at least modified, including deletion).
MS Planner doesn't have a recycle bin. Once something is deleted, it's gone forever. (I couldn't believe when I first found this out.)
With a delete trigger in Flow, we can create our own backup. Please implement a delete trigger, or give us an ability to recover deleted items in Planner.

This is just terrible.You can't restore from recycle bin, because there is no recycle bin.
You can't adjust permission levels, because there is no permission level in there.You can't work around it with flow, because there is no trigger.Basically, it's just a great tool with absolutely no security. Unusable.
This should be a high priority. If data security cannot be guaranteed, we'll have to give up this tool no matter how good the other features are ... 😞

When task is deleted trigger is critical.
It is quite surprising how such an essential need is not yet implemented. Having tasks disappearing in a black hole is an absolute nightmare
is this option in progress or we should change the platform?
