Power Automate Desktop cannot recognize UI elements of applications built with JAVA.

When trying to add [UI elements] of the application configured in Java from the [UI elements pane] of Power Automate Desktop, [UI elements] are not recognized and causes trouble.

For example, if trying to add [UI elements] from the Java Control Panel, [Window] and [Title Bar] are recognized, but the buttons in the Window are not be recognized.

I have tried enabling Java Access Bridge, etc., but no improvement.

If Power Automate Desktop allow to create flows using Java-related applications, it would be user-friendly, so we request to improve this feature immediately.

Hello @Neko-admin .

UI automation for Java apps and applets is supported with Power Automate Desktop.

Please install the latest version of Power Automate Desktop and check the below items in order to ensure that configuration is performed successfully:

  • Java Access Bridge from Control Panel should be disabled
  • Go to Java installation folder(s) (for both 32 and 64 bit Java installations) and ensure that the following files exist:
    • File ‘PAD.Java.Bridge.Native.dll’ in folder ‘C:\Program Files\Java\jre...\bin’ (jre... should be replaced with your machine’s Java installation)
    • File ‘accessibility.properties’ in folder ‘C:\Program Files\Java\jre...\lib’(jre... could be replaced with your machine’s Java installation)
    • File ‘PAD.JavaBridge.jar’ in folder ‘C:\Program Files\Java\jre...\lib\ext’ (jre... could be replaced with your machine’s Java installation)
  • Make sure there isn't an '.accessibility.properties' file present in your user folder.
    • Check folder ‘C:\Users\user’ (replace user with your username) whether a file with name ‘.accessibility.properties’ is present. If yes, then please rename it.

I hope this helps.
