Provide a method of organising Flows

Working with flows is very messy if you are working on a batch of flows that contribute to one task.  A system of being able to tag flows or put them in folders would allow you to work more seamlessly on specific flow groups.

Status: Completed

You can now organize your flows into solutions. Solutions are like tags or folders. They are like folders in that they can contain flows, plus they can contain other assets like PowerApps, CDS entities etc.... They are also like tags in that a single flow can be in more than one solution - so your not tied to one strict heirarchy. The new Solutions tab is available for any envirnomnet that has CDS enabled. Status changed to: Planned

We are planning on adding ways to group flows together so that you don't have to deal with one giant list of Flows.

@Stephen

would it be possible to combine the ideas and votes of the following posts  (votes per 2018-0504) with the already planned development and assign appropriate priority to it.

@ErichH - thanks for the note, I have merged these ideas. If you know of other ideas that need to be merged feel free to let us know. The product team will generally look at / merge etc... all ideas with more than 10 votes, but there are a lot of ideas with fewer Kudos that aren't on our radar as much.

I'd like to make my own tags for categories, then just show me my tag cloud so i can filter, or something like that.  Like Trello, it'd be nice if i could choose a colour to go with the tags.

Advocate I

@Stephen will the planned feature be a support for individual users to organize their flows or will it enable organizations to have an overview on all flows in the infrastructure that somebody every created? I think the latter is the decisive point and I would heavily appreciate to have something like this.

The motivation is simple: I encourage my team and other teams to increase productivity with flow, however it will be pretty bad if there will be a bunch of individually created (and maybe not actively shared with the team) flows that do something in our infrastructure and nowbody knows what and where...

@Stephen Good to hear that you're looking at ways to Group Flows, loop in with the PowerApps and the Forms team as it would be also good to be able to collect together related Flows, PowerApps and Forms in any Grouping concept.  Essentially this would make it possible to define an information services, give them an ID and then IT can manage them as Services e.g. make a reference in a service catalog or configuration management database.

I appreciate HL's concern, but please don't over-complicate an implementation for the small orgs which only have one person creating the flows.

Hi all -- the plan is that it will not be a purely individual grouping -- but something that is shared by everyone in the origanization. Now -- if I'm the only one who has access to the flow then it doesn't impact others. However, for things that are shared, including PowerApps and Flows, these will be common.
