Would be nice to be able to have the option 'Is HTML' in the 'send an approval email' so that there can be consistency between 'send an approval email' and also 'send an email' when both are required to be used within the same flow.
isHTML option within Start Approval body, might definitely help us format the body(details) the way we wanted it. Otherwise, its a complete mess when we add multiple lines.
I would like to see formatting HTML within this. Appreciated if this can be considered for the next release.
I would agree with the previous comments. When a manager received an approval email with all of the information all bunched together they think it is an error not an approval. Is it possible to add an option to use Rich Text?
Yes we want this feature, we couldn't get a quick sign off because the business didn't like the way the email was formatted in plain text. Please make this happen soon, shouldn't be too much to implement if you already have this in send an email approver. Thanks
Hands up for this to happen to, I think it is a major issue for businesses, we have to complay with certain formats, convey accurate visual information and so forth, at the moment, we cannot use this due to that, and its really a pity as the product has come a long way to where it is now!
I would like to add my request for rich HTML text this to be possible. As for others, this is an important feature and it makes an otherwise excellent functionality to seem faulty. As web professionals we know this is only a matter of html tags being visible or not but to ordinary users it appears that the system is unreliable and this leads to lack of confidence and user adoption.
Soo.. A few months ago I created a Flow using Outlook.com connector to send email with options. The action allowed the ability to use HTML by clicking 'Is HTML' in the advanced section of the dialog.
Today I'm attempting to create a FLOW using the same connector and action. However, I do not see the option 'Is HTML'. Am I the only one person experiencing this issue?
Hey Sru, After doing some digging and testing. I discovered send email with options accept HTML, without checking the โIs HTMLโ box. The action does not have a box check. The action send email requires you to check the โIs HTMLโ check box if youโre using HTML.
You can now include rich text in approvals. Techincally, it's markdown not HTML, but it lets you do the same scenarios: https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/rich-approvals-text-and-multiselect/
