Would be nice to be able to have the option 'Is HTML' in the 'send an approval email' so that there can be consistency between 'send an approval email' and also 'send an email' when both are required to be used within the same flow.
I really hope that the new modern approval will have this "Is HTML" option since the output for current modern approval seems like not support the HTML tag inside the "details" option.
Hi Stephen This works perfectly. But I have encountered a few issues. In Outlook for the Web it renders the markdown as it should ๐ In Outlook (Version 9001.2171) it is Rendering the mail as there is markdown, but it's Rendering it not correct. In Outlook for Android (newest Version) it is not Rendering the mail at all. So there's just a non readable Long text.
So if I am including dynamic content (a rich text field from a sharepoint list) with multiple lines, how can I get that formatting to come across in the body of the approval (or in my case, email with options)? It just shows the <div> tags etc..

I am having the same problem as realik, and that shows that there really is a problem with the html! Less than three weeks ago, this was working!!! Is this a known issue?
You can now include rich text in approvals. Techincally, it's markdown not HTML, but it lets you do the same scenarios: https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/rich-approvals-text-and-multiselect/
