SharePoint Open File Trigger

There are already some very cool and powerful SharePoint triggers in Flow based on file creation or modification, but a trigger that detects when a SharePoint file is opened would be really useful. I understand you can extract this information from the Office365 Audit log, but having access in Flow would allow for some cool automated workflows.

Would love this idea.

We would use this to send documents to customers.

Would love to see that !
We need it to know which doc is read or unread by current user 🙂

This is exactly what I am looking for.  I have a date in our White Paper library that is Last Used.  I need a flow to update the Last Used when the file is opened.  This will help us when we need to clean up the library to see what White Papers are being used and which ones are not.  How can we find out if this is in the list to be worked on?

From another MS Site:

"If you are using SharePoint Online for Microsoft Office 365 for enterprises, auditing for Opening or downloading documents, viewing items in lists, or viewing item properties is not available because of storage and performance concerns."

Another mechanic to get those information would be realy helpful.
