Skype integration

Where is skype messaging system endpoint?

Status: Planned

Skype support is something we're planning on, unfortunately, we cannot provide an ETA at this time because there is no public Skype REST API. We are working with the Skype team to get exposing REST APIs booked so we can light it up in Flow. Thank you!

What about the bot?

New Member

@jeronimocastroAFAIK the current Skype bot architecture requires each "application" to have its own bot. In effect it means all Flow communications will be on the same bot, which is not desirable (or scalable, from Flow's POV).

@MRCLcan you please comment?

I'm not Microsoft/Sype staff, just a developer with some Skype bots experience.

Any updates on when we might see Microsoft Flow triggers and actions from Skype?

I want to send a notification to Skype for Business from Microsoft Flow.

I want to create new meeting of Skype for Business from Microsoft Flow.

I would like to filter and forward calls going into skype. It would be amazing if I could use Skype and flow to open the door to my condo. Calls from a specific origin number to Skype would trigger an action in flow.

You could also integrate Skype flow and crm so calls coming into a specific number like in a sales center could be automatically added in as a lead in crm through flow.

Thanks

Hi,

here is my customers business case:

Flow for Skype for Business should be reacting on someone signing up for a webcast/webinar and if attending the call.

Would be desirable to write this info into Dynamics 365 Customer engagement on the marketing campaign or the customer.

Regards,

Mike
