Smarter approval notification: No emails when using Mobile Flow App

When I am using approvals I'm 99% of the time approving them using my phone (iPhone). But I also receive an email, which is clutter for me. See the picture below as an example of a flow approval that triggers a valuable Flow notification and sends an unnecessary clutter email message.

Can you make it possible to make the approval system smarter, so it only sends out a notification to your Phone when you have the Microsoft Flow app installed? Or it sends out the notification first to your mobile phone and if you don't respond within X days, it sends a reminder of Flows waiting for approval to your email?

It would also be great when you can define your settings e.g.: I want to get approval notifications using (checkboxes):

  1. Mobile Microsoft Flow app
  2. Email
  3. Using the online flow.microsoft.com approvals page only

Yes PLEASE. Sucks this hasn't moved since 3 years ago

We have an approval system for our operations leads - they are primarily away from their laptops/PCs and are nearly entirely on mobile and vice versa, some others that are mostly desktop that don't touch their mobile devices.

Our leads interact just fine with mobile approval notifications but get drowned in redundant approval emails. Would be great to have different actions for the type of approval to send.

It has been under review since last 2 years. Certainly with more organizations being mobile, sending emails creates clutter. We need Microsoft to look into this as early as possible.

Any update on this? I want to disable Email notifications, yet want to receive Teams Activity Notification for Approvals.
