Support for On Event Trigger for On-Premise SQL

Can the SQL on creation and modified triggers be extended to work with on-premise SQL Server instalations through the data gateway.

This is a much needed feature I think. Without this, data gateways don't achieve much in our organisation as almost all of our SQL DBs are on-premise.

PLease microsoft, find a a workaround or release this feature.

 

Most customers use SQL On premises, mostly because to migrate SQL to Azure is not an easy task without a support from an experience IT. It means small companies which do not have the resources to have IT covering several areas, like this one it will not have the opportunity ro take advantage of this feature.

 

In our case, we don't have the Thecnical  support, internally or externally with the knowledge to design and implement a migration to Azure.
