Trigger Flow from a Power App within a solution

Currently a Power App that belongs to a Solution cannot trigger a Flow (the button for Flow is missing from the Actions tab in the Power Apps maker).

This means that Solution specific connectors like the Common Data Service (current environment) cannot be used in a Flow that is triggered by a Power App.  Therefore, the AI Builder Predict action in a Flow cannot be triggered from a Power App.

It would be great to have Power Apps in Solutions to be able to trigger Flows in the same solution at least.

To be super specific, I am talking about Canvas Power Apps here, not Model-driven

At a higher level, having to choose between solutioning your app or having powerful functionality removed i.e flows triggered from within PowerApps is unfortunate and creates inconsistency. At least having the ability to have this within the same solution as suggested above would be great.

Hi @HSheild,

With regards to AI Builder, the AI Builder connector is now available for flows outside solutions. No longer need to use the predict action. You can now create a flow outside a solution with an AI Builder action and call that flow from a canvas app.

I hope this unblock some of the scenarios you had in mind. 🙂

Updating the idea with some good news.
