Trigger- When a User is added to a Active Directory

There would be interesting to trigger a flow to take actions when a new user is created on Azure Active Directory. For example, send email notification.

To build on the idea, it would be nice to trigger flows when an account is created or deleted.

I too would like this feature. I would like to be able to have a flow built based on user group. E.G if you have multi sites with different groups, a user gets an email based on the groups they are in with welcome information.

Here is another idea with votes already that you may also want to vote up:

I would use this trigger to send a Welcome message to the new user instructing him/her to make a device order and inform other IT practises of the company.

This would be really useful and sounds like something that the flow woud bring clear business benefits when automating the onboarding process!

We have a PowerApp with a Contacts screen that shows all employees and their contact information.  We want to start a Flow when a user is added to our Azure AD so that we can do a push notification through the PowerApp so everyone knows a new employee has been onboarded.

Key triggers for me would be:

  • On new user
  • On new group
  • On user added to group
  • On user removed from group
  • On user updated
  • On group updated
  • On user removed
  • On group removed

These would open up some really useful options around automating the Office 365 security model, allowing us to push more control back to users without risking the integrity of the overall security of our cloud tenancy.

It could be very powerful for being able to build interfaces to other data sources.  Allow all AD elements to be captured in Power Automate as dynamic content.

Set the trigger as New or Modified Item.

Surprised this isn't a thing yet as it would be super useful! There are so many different internal workflows I can think of if we could use Azure AD triggers.
