Trigger to delete a share point file.

I use sharepoint as a centralize document center for my team to access the data, and it allows user to add/modify/delete the file in the folder in share point.   I could set the work flow by using trigger when someone create/modify file and get me approve before the file will be located in specific folder.   However, I have an issue when someone delete the file from the folder, and I have no idea who delete the file.

I would like to have a trigger when someone delete the file and need my approval before it completes or a notification to me.

regards

Good news - this item is completed, you can read about it in this blog post : https://flow.microsoft.com/blog/share-with-sharepoint-office-365/ - there are now triggers for both When an Item is delete and When a file is deleted. Thanks!

I too would like a trigger when a SharePoint file is deleted.  In my case it has to do with synchronizing the files to a network share.  I know that SharePoint has a sync option with OneDrive but I need where it syncs to be a Network Share.  I've been able to set up a symbolic link to a network share in OneDrive for Business and then create a flow when a document in a SharePoint library is created or modified that will copy the document to the Network Share via the OneDrive symbolic link.  (using mklink)  But I can't create a flow that deletes a file when a SharePoint library file is deleted.

I can think of other reasons why a flow like this is needed.  Please add this trigger!

Agree an "On delete" trigger would be very helpful to sync files between multiple sharepoint group sites.

I agree. Especially when using Office 365 Groups. Our users like the whole collaboration thing, but Group Owners want more control when their files/folders are modified or deleted. The on_modify trigger is available, but we sure could use the on_delete trigger. This shouldn't be too hard to implement, guys.

I, too, would like to a delete trigger that way to folder libraries are always identical.

Similarly btu said differently, i would really like a flow that "mirrors" a folder. My current situation is i want to create a document library within my O365 group that mirrors only certain folders in my original document library. Yes the solution could be that i permission each folder but i would rather just provide this "outside group" of people their own document library. Provides them a nicer interface and makes permissioning easier and less worrisome as my team expands.
