activate/ deactivate actions in flows

Could be useful for not to delete an action included into a flow branch.

Also for isolate possible failing actions for having the following actions in that branch to get running.

please add this functionality, its very important to debug or isolate activities that can be cause troubles.

How is this not implemented yet? Crucial feature! 😮

I really need it today. 🙁

This will allow us to test various scenarios and also keep some functions which are not useful for now, but which will be necessary in future.

@utkarshdubeygI've been using "Static Result" as a work around. This feature gives the ability to disable individual actions and specify an output variable from the action, as if the action had run. This has been a suitable work-around for me. It is in "Preview" but I assume everyone has access to it, it should be visible in each action's ellipsis menu.

Any news on this? I have several flows where it emails the result if it's successful, but I don't want to send emails if it's not working, so I'd like to "comment out" or bypass that step temporarily until I get it working again.

@chris_l Have you tried the action setting "Static Result"? Use it to disable individual actions (specify a static output value from the action, if a subsequent action requires a value). It is labeled as "Preview" so check to see if it's available to you.

@Neville No, I hadn't tried that - it isn't available for certain commands that come before this step, but you're right, it's there for the email action 😁 Thanks very much!

Very frustrating not to have this feature.

I would love to see this feature. Apparently it's been asked for, for years now. A lot of my flows email our customers, and I've love to be able to disable that action, make the changes, and test what I need to test. Currently, I need to either delete the email or change the email to be sent to me, then make the changes that I need to make. Then change it back. Being able to just disable the email, make the changes and test, then enable the email would be huge.
