create a Vote or Poll to update an excel spreadsheet

It will be great if we can have an option to create a Vote/Poll or Ranking Status to be send via email and then the answers get updated to Sharepoint list or Excel Spreadsheet, say for example I manage a Risk Register,a New Risk been detected, send a Notification/Approval/Vote to my Manager, he then can review the risk, vote if its High or Low Risk then approve it, his ansewers then would automatically get updated on the spreadsheet

Update -  Actually with Customised Approvals now you can do that add a condition and next step would be update a row on an excel spreadsheet - I ve used this yesterday and it worked well
